The wire tool can manually measure the wire's length, curvature, angle, chord height, etc.
Display rule description:
-
Line:
-
Displays the length of the line between the two endpoints
-
Wire:
-
Display the total length of all red line segments
-
Display angle values at endpoints
-
Control point display rules:
-
When there is a single control point: display both the angle and curvature (1/R)
-
When there are multiple control points: only the curvature (1/R) is displayed
-
Curvature calculation method: fit a circle using adjacent control points/endpoints and calculate the inverse of the radius
-
Shortcut key functions:
-
Hold down the Shift key: only display the wire skeleton and hide other auxiliary displays
-
Notes:
-
Yellow framed text: Indicates the chord height length of the yellow vertical line
-
All annotations are displayed with a background frame
Instructions
- Click the Traverse tool
2. Click the two endpoints of the wire and the location where you want to calculate the curvature on the image, as shown in the figure
3. Double-click any non-control point on the line to add a control point, and double-click a control point to delete it.
